Hello,
I have been directed here from Fitness Repair Parts. I am looking for what I have identified as my problem part (I hope). I own an Ironman 230e Elliptical Trainer. Recently I was having issues with the machine powering on. I have checked the batteries, and they are all good. I also checked the control board with a voltmeter, and all capacitors and PCB line look good. I disassembled the machine, and found what I think is the problem. Attached to the Mag Brake, there is a device similar to a bicycle speedometer. The point that it passes seems to indicate to the unit that there is motion, and it is time to turn on. The part that I am looking for is called the "REED SWIT©H WIRE W/SENSOR" All of the equipment names and terminology were taken from the following website:

I am looking for this part, or a comparable one to use as a replacement. I know that there are better and cheaper models, but this thing works perfectly aside form this part. Also I can afford to repair not replace.
Brad F.
