Getting an E-2 error message and repair tech tells me I need new console but can't find part

HEY Bud, I have the same bike and that code actually means you have a pinched wire or loose wire, check the back of the console where the harness plugs in y( you will have to remove the 4 screws behind it) and follow it down to the resistance motor ( which you will have to take the wheel covers off to get to and play with the wires till the code goes away, I do have a spear console but the - button does not work.
