Hello...today we obtained a FREE Gold's Gym Crosswalk 570 Treadmill from a friend and in the moving process; because we moved it in two parts - SOMEONE (husband) pushed the top part of the treadmill into the truck too far and literally snapped the black wire right in half. So much for free, huh? At any rate - My question is trying to figure out what part it is that i need to purchase. Would it be the Power Harness? I went to the parts website and searched under electrical and assuming the wire he snapped was black that that was the only wire I needed to replace. I just want to make sure upfront, ensuring I only have to place one order and it's the right one from the start. My husband was an electrician in a past life, for a short time, and thought he could splice wires and repair but the bundle is pretty tight and he's not sure he can do it. If anyone has even a little bit of expertise on what I need to order - I would appreciate it. FYI - I am smart enough to know that it was NOT the power cord. Also - the wire in the owner's manual is referred to as the 'Upright Wire' - if that helps.
