Hi everybody,
My first post, I thank you indeed for your time and help here...
Issue = Intensity / Resistence no longer functional after changing batteries.
Have a Alliance ET920D Elliptical, purchased it brand new a few years ago... The other day, the monitor/console was flashing / acting up, so I figured the batteries need changing... I took the back off, saw that the original batteries were a little corroded, cleaned & replaced with rechargable ones as specified, and put it back on... Monitor works fine, but one HUGE problem - I can no longer get the monitor to interact with the rest of the elliptical, as in it stays on the super easy strides, and though I can choose the mountains etc on the monitor, the stride remains on the super easy one with no degree of pedal resistance.... So why isn't the monitor communicating with the lower mechanics? Yes, I have made 100% sure all is plugged back in on the motherboard of the monitor etc... I have tried holding down the program button etc, hoping for a reset, but still nothing.... what could be the issue, am I missing something here, it's been well looked after...
Thanks in advance all, I sincerely appreciate anybody's two cents, and if I need a service person to look at it, then if someone could recommend, I am in Atlanta (Gwinnett) to be precise.
If you need images of the console, or anything else, I'd be happy to provide..
